Your direct support keeps VFW Post 584&rsquo;s doors open to the veterans, families, and community who rely on this building for connection, resources, and community programs. Gifts to this fund go straight to essential building needs&mdash;repairs, safety upgrades, and maintenance&mdash;so we can continue to foster camaraderie, honor military service, and host programs like Patriots Pen, Voice of Democracy, and Teacher of the Year. Recently our Post has taken some heavy hits financially with several building issues. Our HVAC system is from 2000...almost double it&#39;s life expectancy and is no longer maintaining room temp, overworking the whole system and driving up our electrical bill. Our kitchen flooring is worn and need of replacement. Our freezer went out, it was replaced for $500. &nbsp;One service bill superseded $2,600 for replacement of a mother board of a commercial fridge. Our ice machine has quit on us, so we have been bringing in bags of ice. We have building maintenance issues in need of a contractor to address.&nbsp; This is the short list of things that need immediate attention for our Post day to day operations to be successful.&nbsp; If you can donate, please do!
