Support research shaped by lived experience and the need for a better quality of life. IIF | Impact Innovation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to opportunity through innovation, education, technology, entrepreneurship, and human-centered development. At IIF, our commitment to research is closely tied to the health journey of our CEO, Dr. Diane Tucker. After brain surgery in 2005, she experienced severe nerve pain, intracranial hypertension involving excess fluid pressure around the brain, seizure-like shaking, autoimmune issues, and additional health challenges. For more than two decades, these challenges have made the need for meaningful research personal for Dr. Tucker. Her experience guides our focus on recovery, daily functioning, and quality of life, with the aim of producing findings that help people make informed decisions about their well-being. Study DevelopmentYour contributions help develop studies examining outcomes such as sleep quality, stress, fatigue, physical comfort, and daily functioning. Funding supports qualified research personnel, study coordination, participant recruitment, and analysis. Equipment and Reliable InformationYour support helps provide approved research equipment, environmental sensors, measurement tools, and secure data systems so researchers can consistently document changes and evaluate the limits of their findings. Community ParticipationBy giving, you help create opportunities for people to take part in approved research and educational programs. Wider participation helps the work reflect more diverse experiences and needs. Education and Public FindingsYour contributions help translate research into workshops, reports, guides, and practitioner resources, making findings available to individuals, families, and communities beyond the research locations.
