🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 In August 2024, I initiated the formation and development of Mindset Exceed Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to creating transformative opportunities for youth and families across the state of Arkansas. Our mission is rooted in equity, support, and growth. We aim to: 1. Serve as a catalyst for transformative educational experiences and comprehensive support systems that equip individuals to thrive academically and personally. 2. Operate as a dedicated resource and outreach center for children and families navigating the college journey and accessing higher education. 3. Deliver targeted services that improve outcomes for youth in foster care, ensuring they have the tools, mentorship, and stability needed to succeed. 4. Advocate for equal access to educational opportunities, regardless of background, socioeconomic status, or life circumstances. 5. Provide a safe, supportive environment for youth experiencing homelessness or those who have run away from home. Mindset Exceed Inc. is currently in the fundraising phase to establish a physical space that will allow us to fully realize this mission. We are seeking to raise $400,000 to support the following key initiatives:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Construction of a Youth Services Facility: A safe, secure shelter that will accommodate 4&ndash;10 youth at a time, offering not only temporary housing but also access to counseling, academic support, and life skills training.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Staff Office Space: Onsite offices for program and support staff to provide personalized services and program management.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Start-up Transportation: Purchase of a 15-passenger van to provide reliable transportation for youth to and from educational programs, appointments, extracurricular activities, and community events.</li></ul>Our long-term goal is to break ground on a permanent facility in early 2026. Alongside our fundraising efforts, we intend to apply for federal and state funding opportunities to ensure the sustainability and long-term success of our programs.
