Help Send Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School to Odyssey of the Mind World Finals! The Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School Odyssey of the Mind team has earned 1st place at the Pennsylvania State Competition &mdash; and we&#39;re heading to the 2026 World Finals at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa this May! Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving program that challenges students to think outside the box, collaborate under pressure, and present original solutions to complex problems. Our 6-member team competed in a performance-based challenge and rose to the top of Division 3 across the entire state of a very competetive Pennsylvania. For their long-term problem, the team created an original magical musical following a poet whose words have the power to rewrite reality &mdash; if only he can overcome his crushing writer&#39;s block. The performance featured stunning hand-crafted sets and costumes, an intricate marionette King, and a fully original score with six original songs &mdash; all brought to life for under $145. Every element was conceived, built, and performed entirely by the students themselves with no outside assistance. &nbsp;The team devoted around 1600 hours from September to March to create their performance. &nbsp; World Finals brings together thousands of students from across the globe, and competing on that stage is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. To make it there, we need your help. Travel, housing, registration, and competition materials all add up &mdash; and every contribution makes a difference. As a thank-you, all donors will receive a private link to watch the team&#39;s winning performance from the Pennsylvania State Competition &mdash; and a follow-up link to their World Finals performance after the competition concludes.
