🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 Arkansas Peace &amp; Justice Movement (APJMM), a project of Washitaw Foothills Youth Media Arts &amp; Literacy Collective (WFYMALC), functions as the state partner of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI), and has worked to memorialize the 500+ documented victims of racialized terror lynchings in the State of Arkansas. In May-June 2027, APJMM plans to host the One-Hundredth Year Commemoration of the John Carter/Lonnie Dixon lynchings in what is now known as Little Rock, Arkansas. &nbsp;APJMM and EJI have erected memorial plaques at the site of each lynching within the last several years. &nbsp;And, had been working with the previous governor&#39;s administration to plan this event. &nbsp;However, the planning stopped when the current governor took office.&nbsp; So, we seem to now be doing this on our own with any governmental resources.
