At Christian Arts United, we know that change starts with people willing to serve and willing to be part of a movement. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission.&nbsp; In 2025-26, we served over 40 artists, writers, songwriters, and musicians with monthly activities including educational material. Subjects such as advancing artistic skills, publishing, monetizing, and biblical research were presented to those who participated in our monthly events. Our plan is to continue to serve our group, free of charge, with resources and educational material.&nbsp; During 2025, and this half of the year, C.A.U. has been busy! We serve the community in multiple ways.&nbsp; We created a dance team for youth in elementary and middle school. Dance lessons were presented free-of-charge. Along with the dance lessons, we brought in donations of ballet shoes and costumes for each child. Our youth dancers have been granted dance lessons in the areas of ballet, liturgical, and hip-hop. In December, we placed on a children&#39;s recital in which 11 dancers living in the city of Johnstown were able to showcase their new skills to friends and family. In addition to dancers, a newly formed children&#39;s choir performed three songs then we were granted guest piano solos of a few youth from the area.&nbsp; C.A.U. was formed to bring other artists together. Artists came together to fill in the gaps for a local theater group. We helped to design a backdrop and visual props for a Christmas play. A mural was worked on by our very own artists of C.A.U.&nbsp; Our current status has formed an ongoing free music coffeehouse event held on the first Fridays in the fall and spring months. Beginning with a family trio, we placed on community concerts for the public and helped raise donation money for The Way Church and Ministry Center. Our plans are to provide free or low cost concerts in 2026, promoting local Christian artists who are musically inclined.&nbsp; Our needs include promotional costs for upcoming events, Ballet barres, costumes, dance shoes, dance instructor stipends, online software costs, and upcoming costs for our projected events in 2027 of micro-arts festivals and concerts. As we grow, we envision mini galleries, call-to-art show costs, and more. When you support us, you are supporting others. Our efforts will be placed into promoting other Christian artists.
