A white pit bull with tan markings sits on a grassy ground covered in fallen leaves, with a blurred background of more foliage and some small pink flowers.

KY K-9 Collective is a 100% volunteer-run organization, which means every dollar donated goes directly toward helping the animals—not salaries or overhead. Every dog costs anywhere from $100 and up. Your support provides lifesaving veterinary care, transportation to and from veterinary appointments, food, enrichment, medications, and whatever each animal truly needs to recover and thrive. We believe every animal deserves individualized care, not just the minimum. Our long-term mission is to reduce pet overpopulation by helping individuals and families access affordable spay and neuter services. When we take in an unwanted litter, our commitment extends beyond the puppies—we also ensure both parents are spayed or neutered as soon as they are healthy enough for surgery. By addressing the root cause of unwanted litters, we’re creating lasting change for animals and the communities that love them.
