Help light the way for at-risk youth. Your gift to True-North Initiative’s Guiding Lights campaign helps support our 2027 mentorship program, connecting young people with caring mentors, encouragement, and practical support. Our $20,000 fundraising goal will help launch a workshop weekend at Buckhorn, planned for Spring 2027, serving 15 youth alongside 15 staff members and an on-site nurse. Away from daily stressors, young people will have space to connect, build confidence, and develop skills with a supportive team. At $184 per person, the base cost for 30 participants is $5,520. Funds will also help cover outdoor gear, snacks, and an on-site nurse during the weekend. The support continues after the workshop weekend. Throughout the remainder of 2027, funds will help provide transportation, follow-up meetings, and activities that keep youth connected with their mentors and one another. As needs arise and funding allows, we also hope to help with essentials such as school-related fees and clothing. Your generosity helps create both a meaningful experience and ongoing support—so young people leave with relationships they can continue to count on. You don’t have to attend Guiding Lights to make a difference. Give today and help a young person move forward with support and hope. True-North Initiative is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations made through this page.
