We rescue dogs from Ohio shelters, train them as service dogs, and place them with people living with disabilities at no cost to the recipient, ever. A trained service dog costs $20,000 to $50,000 on the open market. The people who need one most can't pay that, so we remove the price entirely. Every dog we place changes two lives: one that was running out of time in a shelter, and one that gets independence back. Nine of our eighteen placements have gone to veterans.
