🐾 Paws With Purpose St. Robert Catholic School &times; Saving Tails Animal Rescue10 Grades. 10 Rescue Puppies. One Big Goal: $15,000! St. Robert Catholic School is partnering with Saving Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) for Paws With Purpose, a school-wide service-learning project that brings compassion, stewardship, community service, and animal rescue directly into the classroom. Each of St. Robert&#39;s 10 participating grades, including preschool, will be paired with its own STAR rescue puppy to follow throughout the program! Students will get to know their puppy, receive photos and updates, follow important milestones, and learn what it takes to help a rescue animal go from needing help to finding a loving forever home.Along the way, students will learn about:🐾 Compassion and kindness 🐾 Catholic stewardship and service 🐾 Responsible pet ownership 🐾 Animal welfare 🐾 Volunteerism and community service 🐾 How nonprofit organizations work 🐾 Fundraising, budgeting and financial literacy 🐾 The many ways - even without donating money - that kids can make a difference Each grade has been challenged to raise $1,500, giving St. Robert a combined School-Wide Goal: $15,000 &nbsp;for animal rescue &amp; outreach in our community!❤️ Each classroom will be able to follow its fundraising progress throughout the program and watch its goal thermometer climb toward $1,500. But this is about much more than reaching a dollar amount.Students will also have opportunities to participate through service projects, supply drives, educational activities, acts of kindness, and other hands-on ways of supporting STAR&#39;s mission.Family donations are completely optional.
