At United Social Services Inc. (USS), we believe everyone deserves a safe place to live, access to essential resources, and a meaningful opportunity to move forward. We work alongside individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, poverty, disability, and other barriers to stability.  Through housing, supportive services, community resources, education, employment support, transportation assistance, wellness services, and direct community support, we help people move from immediate need toward greater stability and independence. What Makes USS Different?USS is more than a place to receive assistance.  We are building pathways. Our approach brings housing and essential services together so people can receive support based on where they are today while working toward where they want to be tomorrow. From emergency shelter and rapid rehousing to transitional living, permanent supportive housing, independent living, career development, transportation, food access, wellness support, and community navigation, our goal is to address the barriers that can prevent people from achieving stability. We are also developing a long-term social enterprise model that can help USS generate sustainable revenue while continuing to advance our charitable mission.
