Honoring Dana. Continuing Her Legacy. The Dana Bardell-Wallace Foundation was established to honor the life and legacy of Dana Bardell-Wallace, a beloved artist, tattoo artist, and community figure from LaPlace, Louisiana.Dana spent more than 35 years using her creativity to connect with and inspire others. Through her tattoo artistry, vibrant paintings, and iconic Andouille Festival artwork, she became an important part of the cultural fabric of St. John the Baptist Parish and the River Parishes. But Dana's greatest impact was not simply the art she created. It was the people she touched.Dana's own experiences with loss, grief, and cancer deeply influenced her work. After losing her mother to breast cancer, she created a breast cancer warrior painting that raised money and awareness and became the beginning of her journey into canvas painting. She understood firsthand how art, awareness, and community can provide hope during difficult times.Dana once said, “I just want people to look at my art and feel happiness. Even if it’s only five seconds of happiness, and that’s enough for me.”That spirit is at the heart of our foundation. The Dana Bardell-Wallace Foundation seeks to carry her legacy forward by supporting scholarships, health and wellness initiatives, and cancer awareness and education. Through these efforts, we hope to create opportunities for students, promote healthier communities, and bring greater awareness to issues that affect individuals and families. Our mission is rooted in the qualities Dana embodied throughout her life: creativity, resilience, compassion, service, and a commitment to her community. When you support the Dana Bardell-Wallace Foundation, you are helping us turn her legacy into a lasting source of opportunity, awareness, and hope.Your donation can help a student pursue their dreams, support a community health initiative, or help raise awareness about cancer.Dana spent her life creating something meaningful for others. Now, we invite you to help us continue creating a legacy that will make a difference for generations to come.Help us honor Dana.Help us continue her legacy.Help us make a difference.
