Across the St. Louis region, talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn't. The digital divide doesn't show up as a lack of ability. It shows up as missing access to tools, mentors, training, and the networks that turn curiosity into careers. When whole communities are left out of the technology economy, we all lose the ideas, solutions, and leaders they would have brought to it. Unity Foundation exists to close that gap. Dr. Ebrahim Moshiri founded it after an engineering career spanning NASA, the EPA, and the Iridium satellite network. Our mission is to use open-source technology, through a community of partnerships, to uplift and empower underserved communities. We believe technology works best when it's open, shared, and built with the people it's meant to serve. That belief shows up in everything we do. We bring hands-on computer science into classrooms, where students learn by building real things with real code. We create learning resources that help young people discover coding for the first time. We steward open-source software projects that developers around the world depend on. And we develop tools that help people find their way into meaningful work. None of it happens alone. We work alongside schools, universities, libraries, community organizations, and volunteer engineers who give their time and expertise. Your gift fuels all of it: instruction, equipment, curriculum, and the partnerships that let each program reach further than the last. Because we run this campaign on Zeffy, 100% of your donation goes to the mission, with no platform fees taken out. Give today, and help us open the door to technology for everyone in our community.
