🌟 Join us in #RealLifeRescue! 🌟At&nbsp;Animal Empowerment League Inc, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for animals in North Dakota. In March 2026, AEL began servicing the Minot City Pound. Together, the City of Minot and Animal Empowerment League have served 200 dogs. While the City of Minot has put approximately $100,200 into pound services for the past 6 months, Animal Empowerment League has spent above and beyond what the City has paid into services. Contrary to belief, servicing the dog pound has come at a considerable expense to our small, but mighty, rescue. Traditionally, we have operated with zero debts. We have applied for several grants to keep our feet treading, but we desperately need your support to pay down our vet bills before they grow even higher. &nbsp;We are nearing $20,000 in expenses needing paid. Animal rescue is hard enough without the stress of debt.&nbsp; Every dog adopted from AEL received all core vaccines, a microchip with free lifetime registration, is spayed/neutered, and also comes with free training through Dog Training with Kasey. Dog training is provided to all adopters at no cost to the rescue nor to the City and has proven to help keep people and pets together and out of the pound.
