Boys Lead Foundation is raising $100,000 in founding capital to help secure, prepare, equip, and begin activating the BEXT Center for Boys and Men in North Dallas. The BEXT Center will be a dedicated facility where boys and men can learn, develop, build, lead, and thrive. It will provide a permanent home for Boys Lead Foundation programs and the BEXT Institute for Boys and Men.The Center will house five specialized areas of work:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Centre for Boys&rsquo; Development</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Centre for Men and Healthy Masculinity</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Centre for Practice and Professional Learning</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Centre for Research and Policy</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Centre for Innovation and Skills Development</li></ul>Boys will have access to sustained mentoring, leadership and life-skills development, Boypreneur entrepreneurship education, BYTES technology training, hands-on skills development, positive male guidance, and family engagement. Men, fathers, mentors, educators, youth workers, faith leaders, and other professionals will have access to training, constructive masculinity and fatherhood programming, research, resources, certification, and professional learning. The first $100,000 will support facility deposits and occupancy, initial preparation and safety improvements, furniture, technology, program equipment, training materials, insurance, and the launch of the Center&rsquo;s first activities. This is more than a building. It is an integrated environment designed to strengthen boys, support men, equip practitioners, engage families, and improve the systems responsible for their development.
