Some voices leave a stage but never truly leave the room. Kelly Nevitt's voice was full of joy and still echoes through Newport Children's Theatre today. Kelly was a radiant young artist whose life, though far too brief, shone brightly in our community. Known for her musical gifts, her captivating performances, and her generous spirit, she brought warmth, laughter, and encouragement to everyone around her.  In her honor, and through the generosity of the Four Hearts Foundation, the Michael E. McCarthy Scholarship Fund, and various individual donors, NCT proudly created the Kelly Nevitt Memorial Scholarship Fund in 2025. This fund provides financial aid and program scholarships, ensuring that cost is never the reason a child misses out on the magic of theatre. Kelly's courage, her dedication to her craft, and her love of theatre remind us why the arts matter: they connect us, they heal us, and they give young voices a place to grow. That's what makes this cause so special. When you give, you're not just honoring Kelly's memory, you're handing a young performer their first spotlight, their first standing ovation, their first taste of what it means to shine. Consider a gift today, and help make sure that spotlight is waiting for the next child who's ready for it.
