Help Us Create Opportunities Through Basketball The Eric Okenchi Athletic Foundation was created from a journey that began with a young boy in Nigeria who dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player, despite having very limited resources.Growing up, I experienced firsthand what it meant to love the game but not always have access to proper basketball shoes, equipment, training, or opportunities. Through faith, perseverance, education, and the support of others, basketball eventually took me from Nigeria to the United States for school and ultimately allowed me to achieve my dream of becoming a professional basketball player. Now, I want to help create those opportunities for the next generation. Our foundation supports underserved young athletes in Nigeria and across Africa through basketball shoes and equipment, camps and training opportunities, mentorship, education, and access to resources that can help them pursue their dreams. At our previous basketball camp, we were blessed to distribute nearly 100 pairs of shoes to young athletes. As we prepare for our next camp, our goal is to expand that impact even further.Your donation can help us cover the costs of shipping donated shoes and equipment to Nigeria, organizing basketball camps, providing jerseys and equipment, securing facilities, transportation, meals, training resources, and developing future educational and scholarship opportunities. But this mission is about more than basketball. We want every young person we serve to know that their circumstances do not have to determine their future. Through mentorship, encouragement and opportunity, we want them to believe that their dreams are possible and that someone believes in them.Talent exists everywhere. Opportunity doesn’t.Together, we can help change that. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us create opportunities, hope, and brighter futures for the next generation of underserved young athletes in Africa. 🏀❤️ Obumneme Eric Okenchi Founder, Eric Okenchi Athletic Foundation 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Nonprofit
