Restoring Hope Ministries Inc is raising $2.1 million to build a sustainable, faith-centered community of care in Green Bay, Wisconsin&mdash;one designed to walk alongside people facing addiction, trauma, re-entry, housing instability, and other significant life transitions. This vision reaches beyond providing a bed or offering a single service. We are developing an interconnected continuum where people can find recovery housing, clinical and faith-based counseling, peer support, case management, chaplaincy, education, life-skills development, neurofeedback services, recovery programming, community relationships, and pathways toward meaningful work and leadership. A major part of this vision is Hope120, a developing 120-day recovery-community model. Participants will have opportunities to engage in structured recovery programming, counseling, peer relationships, spiritual formation, practical life-skills development, food preparation and nutrition education, gardening, community activities, education, employment preparation, and transition planning. Our developing multidisciplinary team is designed to include faith-based counselors, clinical counselors, nurses, case managers, chaplains, house managers, peer-support personnel, and neurofeedback staff. Restoring Hope School of Biblical Counseling will also create supervised opportunities for appropriately prepared Biblical Counseling and Chaplaincy students to serve while developing the next generation of ministry leaders. Choice and human dignity are central to this vision. RHM programming will be available to Hope120 guests, but we do not believe that Restoring Hope must be the source of every good thing in a person&#39;s recovery. Participants may build appropriate recovery and care relationships outside RHM as well. Where responsible help is found, we welcome it. Our goal is not to make people dependent upon our organization; it is to help people develop relationships, skills, resources, responsibility, and community that can continue long after a formal program ends.
