A program of CAMI Health, the Initiative for MPTs (IMPT) launched this visionary field in 2009 and continues to lead as the global, product-neutral network uniting more than 2,000 multidisciplinary&nbsp;scientists, health experts, and advocates working toward one shared goal: giving women better options for preventing linked risks of HIV/STIs and/or unintended pregnancies. While condoms remain the only MPT available today, over 20 new MPTs are in development&mdash;rings, injectables, films, and implants designed to meet women&rsquo;s diverse needs and realities.
