This program provides 100% free home repairs and services to veterans in our community. Donating to this programs mean you have saved real dollars towards veteran home improvements, each project to raise funds cost dollars in training, insurance and materials. So when we receive a donation you can be assured 100% of those dollars goes directly towards a veteran in our community. *Non-profit Construction Corporation allocates all VHIP proceeds to veterans in need of Licensed quality skilled trade home repairs and encourages veterans receiving services to participate in at least three Veteran service organization events. These events can be anything VFW Hall meetings or events a hall of your choice puts on, veteran events supporting other veteran services and organizations or even participation in one of Non-profit Construction Corporations Veteran Home Improvement projects within the VHIP (Veterans CANNOT participate in their own VHIP project to fulfill this request) The VHIP participation request is only REQUESTED if the Veteran requesting assistance is not 100% disabled or physically or mentally unable to participate. We provide the VHIP program to all veterans in need and though participation with our local VFW halls and other organizations is strongly encouraged, it is not a requirement. We simply want our veterans to gain every resource available to them and with younger active military veterans hesitant about joining VFW halls or veteran organizations they are missing out on crucial services that may benefit them in times of crisis or emergency, this is the only reason we have this request to participating veterans. Veterans are eligible for construction cost assistance and homeownership pathways as well.
