Hi there! This June, I have the incredible privilege of going on a mission trip to Guatemala, and I&rsquo;m truly asking for your support, both in prayer and, if you feel led, financially. Over the last several months, I&rsquo;ve felt the Lord deepening my heart for missions in a way that has been both humbling and stretching. I believe He is calling me not only to serve in my own backyard, but also to go beyond what is familiar and love people across cultures the way Jesus did. My desire is to continue growing as a servant, to learn how to love people the way He loves them, and to say yes wherever He leads. As a Hispanic woman, I feel a special burden for Hispanic communities, and I&rsquo;ve sensed the Lord drawing my heart toward different Hispanic nations. This opportunity to serve in Guatemala feels deeply personal to me and like another step of obedience in that calling. While we&rsquo;re there, our team will be serving local churches and ministries, not by coming in with our own agenda, but by listening first. Our heart is to support, strengthen, and encourage pastors, leaders, and churches in the ways they actually need. Part of the mission includes serving in churches and ministries, and part of it is helping equip leaders through encouragement, teaching, and practical tools that can help them continue building up their communities well.What I love about this mission is that it isn&rsquo;t about trying to &ldquo;save&rdquo; anyone or assume we know best. It&rsquo;s about showing up with humility, being willing to serve, and asking, &ldquo;How can we help? What do you need? How can we come alongside what God is already doing here?&rdquo; If you choose to give, your support will help cover the cost of my flight, food, travel expenses, and other trip-related needs. At this time, gifts given directly toward my trip are not tax-deductible. But truly, just as important to me is prayer.
