The Sequatchie Valley Railway Village is actively underway constructing a railroad depot museum, laying track, and purchasing/restoring rail cars to tell an interactive story of the railroad that was constructed from Bridgeport, AL to Dunlap, TN in 1888 and onward to Pikeville in 1891 to support the large coal mining industry of the Valley.The Sequatchie Valley Railway Village is to capture those two colorful eras in its depot museum with rail cars sitting on track that has been recovered from the actual historic railroad.The Railway Village is located just 3 miles north of Pikeville, TN.Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated for this Valley project to see it to completion.
