A silhouette of Alabama is filled with the progressive pride flag, featuring black and brown stripes, a transgender symbol, and the traditional rainbow colors, all set against a plain white background.

Alabama Equality is launching a new educational series on YouTube and other social media platforms designed to help the public better understand issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community. Our first episode will explore the meaning of LGBTQ+ and explain the identities and terminology that make up our diverse community. Dakari Larriett and Patricia Todd will co-host the series and lead these important conversations. Education is a powerful tool for creating understanding. By providing accurate information and creating opportunities for conversation, we hope to reduce homophobia, challenge misinformation, and build a stronger base of support for LGBTQ+ equality in Alabama. We need your help to make this project a reality. Your donation will help us purchase the equipment needed to produce and share this educational series with audiences across Alabama and beyond. Please support Alabama Equality today: Donate to Alabama Equality Every donation makes a difference.
