🌱 Let&#39;s grow a society where everyone can thrive! 🌱 Hi, I&#39;m Dillon Ziegler! I&#39;m running for Prior Lake-Savage Area School Board because the people who have decision-making power should actually reflect the lived experiences of those who they&#39;ve been elected to serve. I&#39;m a lifelong resident of Savage and attended PLSAS schools for my entire K-12 education, graduating from PLHS in 2019. I currently work as a special education para at an elementary school. I have first-hand experience as a student in this school district, and I know the day-to-day struggles and systemic obstacles that school workers face because I live it everyday. We must be vocal about the discrimination that has plagued our district and take bold action to foster a safer, healthier environment for all. We must think of more inclusive and effective ways of ensuring progress for our students and that each one of them is realizing their full potential. We must be relentless in lobbying for systemic changes that will help fix our broken funding structure for public education and ensure that every student and staff member is getting the high quality resources that they deserve.
