A small, scruffy black dog with wide eyes rests its head on a plush, brown dog bed, with a blurred gray couch in the background.

LENNY NEEDS US — AND HE CAN’T WAIT. At just 6 years old, Lenny has already endured a level of neglect no dog should ever experience. When he was surrendered to us, his little body told the story. He was severely matted, covered in dried feces, and his nails were painfully overgrown. We immediately got him to a groomer so we could begin undoing years of neglect. But what we couldn’t see at first was even worse.Lenny’s teeth are severely rotten and his gums are infected. His mouth hurts so badly that he has been rubbing his nose until it is raw. We simply cannot ask him to live with this pain any longer.Normally, we would fundraise first to cover a major medical expense—but Lenny doesn’t have time to wait for the donations to come in. His dental surgery is scheduled for Monday, and we are moving forward whether the funds are there or not.Because when a dog is hurting this badly, relieving that pain comes first. Now we need our community to help us catch up. Every donation—$5, $10, $20 or whatever you can give—will help cover Lenny’s surgery and give this sweet boy something he should have had all along: a life without constant pain.He was neglected for far too long. Now he’s one of ours. And we’re going to make it right. Rescue. Rebuild. Rehome. Las Vegas K-9 Crew Rescue Your donation goes directly to Lenny’s exam, bloodwork, X‑rays, extractions, and follow‑up care through Las Vegas K9 Crew Rescue. Every gift helps cover his medical bill and keeps this local, volunteer‑run dog rescue ready for the next dog who needs urgent help. 🐾
