🌟 Help Send Bagad New York to Lorient!🌟 Since 2009, Bagad New York has set out to share our love of Breton music in the United States. We've played almost 100 performances in that time, from Manhattan to Alaska, whether it was a Fest Noz, festival, or even on an aircraft carrier! We've introduced thousands of people in the USA to Breton music, and will continue to find opportunities to do so! Bagad New York is honored to be invited this summer to the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, the centerpiece celebration of Breton music, held annually in Brittany, France. As one of the handful of Bagadou existing outside of Brittany, the invitation is an enormous honor for us, enabling Bagad New York to share our love of Breton music in Brittany for the first time! For 16 years, the members of Bagad New York have graciously supported our mission by paying the band's expenses largely themselves personally. With a trip abroad, our expenses increase significantly, and we're asking for your support to help us mitigate some of the expenses associated with this trip in August 2025: What expenses will your donation help us with?<ol><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Instrument expenses: Reeds, chanters, bag-covers, cords, tape, tuners, drum heads, drum sticks, everyday needs for a Bagad!</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Uniforms: We're going to be on camera quite a lot, and we need to make sure everyone looks sharp and is fitted well for the trip!</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Event expenses: Our invitation from the Festival includes logistical support and accommodation, but there are many incidental expenses that come up over the course of a 10-day trip:  food, gratuities, flags for the parade, and much more!</li></ol>How can you support us?<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Donate.
