When a nurse passes away, the Nurses Honor Guard of Mid-Missouri stands ready to provide a final tribute to our fallen colleagues, ensuring their legacy of care is recognized with the dignity it deserves.
We are a volunteer organization of active and retired nurses who perform the Nightingale Tribute at funeral services. This includes a brief ceremony, the placing of a white rose, and the &quot;Final Call to Duty,&quot; where the nurse is officially released from their earthly tasks.
 Why We Need Your Support:To provide these services at no cost to the families, we rely entirely on the generosity of our community. As we grow to serve more families across Mid-Missouri, our needs include:
&bull;Uniforms &amp; Regalia: Traditional white uniforms with capes and caps that maintain the solemnity of the ceremony.
&bull;Ceremonial Supplies: Nightingale lamps, white roses, and condolence cards.&bull;Travel &amp; Outreach: Ensuring our volunteers can reach rural areas across the region.
