We hear daily from people on the street: "We were so encouraged to see all the people at your honk & wave / at your recent rally, because it helps us feel less powerless and alone." Courage is contagious. We hope to raise $1000 per month. This will help us pay for recurring administrative costs (digital resources like zoom and mailchimp, website, etc., and insurance) and costs associated with putting on events (permits, rent for venues, professional AV support, sign language interpretation, safety trainings, art supplies for making signs and street theater props, etc). We also hope to set aside $500 per month for "rapid response" emergencies -- at any moment, we might suddenly need to charter buses to larger demonstrations in other cities, for example.
