Families from across the peninsula will have a first-come, first-served opportunity to participate, with a focus on NYCHA residents.    Proposed University Campus Tours.  Purpose: To provide students and parents with an understanding of Ivy League University's history, and its offerings for African American and diverse student populations, and to engage them in a collaborative activity that reinforces their learning and experiential exposure. The 2nd tour visit will be to Columbia University. I am seeking support in acquiring a Coach Charter Buses for this tour to accommodate 25 students accompanied by a parent and 4 volunteer chaperones. This will be full-day events, so donations of food and snacks for travel will also need to be funded.
