Members of Girl Scout Troop 52007 are working on their Silver Award project. After volunteering several times with The No Hands But Yours Ministry serving the homeless in our area, they saw a great need for backpacks and toiletry kits for the people they were serving. If you would like to support them in their project, they are collecting new and gently used backpacks as well as new toiletry items. They will be putting together kits to deliver to the homeless in our area. If you are local there will be a drop off bin at Nativity Catholic Church in the week leading up to the weekend of July 12 & 13th (or let me know and I will coordinate picking them up from you).
