Gingerbread&rsquo;s year rescue anniversary is quickly approaching and we want to celebrate the start of her new life with us! You may recall that just before Christmas, GingiB was left at a bus stop. A kind bus driver took her on board despite rules prohibiting it and GingiB was rescued. Gingerbread was born with a genetic condition* that affects Wire Fox terriers and causes skeletal dysplasia issues. She has difficulty walking due in part to having subluxed patellas (surgical intervention not needed at this time but perhaps in the future) but her spinal column has deformities which greatly affect her mobility and comfort. She has shown remarkable progress with the help of weekly acupuncture, laser therapy, and water therapy consisting of underwater treadmill and swimming. Still, since her back is impacted and this is genetic, we can only manage her mobility and pain. Won&rsquo;t you help us to continue to do all we can for this brave and sweet little one for her lifetime? Since weekly therapy is needed, her expenses are significant.
