Keep Kuhn! Being the Criminal Court Clerk has allowed me to make a difference. The Criminal Court Clerk’s Office has made great strides in expungements, payments, and streamlining business processes. The thought of making a difference was the catalyst for the changes I implemented. I intended to become transparent, accessible, sensible, forthcoming, and real and I have achieved those goals and I am proud of the direction the Criminal Court Clerk’s Office has taken while being Clerk. The Criminal Court Clerk’s Office faced many challenges upon taking office: inflexible systems, mismanaged operations, refusal to handle funds accurately, questionable practices, low employee morale, and an unwillingness to work with and for the community, but all that changed once I was elected in 2018.   The Criminal Court Clerk’s Office accomplished a lot during my tenure, both internally and externally. I am pleased with our efforts, especially at a time of intense polarization across our country. I am interested in being a part of building a bridge to reaffirm and advance our office’s fundamental values of equality, justice, and human dignity. I aspire to continue the good work already accomplished by creating a pathway to greater success. In the years ahead, it will be more important than ever for us to build upon good government, identify what is right for the office and the community, and invest in solutions that will secure the people’s trust. I am proud to have been elected Criminal Court Clerk, but even more proud of the outstanding advancements we have made and the direction we are taking this office collectively. I look forward to continuing this success for another four years.
