For fifteen years, your generosity has allowed Southwest Animal Rescue Fund (SWARF) to help homeless animals throughout New Mexico. &nbsp;Every bag of clothing, every piece of jewelry, every book, every piece of china and crystal, and every kitchen gadget donated to Secondhand Treasures has been transformed into food, veterinary care, spay and neuter surgeries, transportation, sanctuary, and new beginnings for animals in need. Today, we&rsquo;re asking for something new.&nbsp; We&rsquo;re asking for monetary donations. For the first time, we need to raise money for something other than our animal welfare programs. &nbsp;We need to build a permanent home for Secondhand Treasures before our current lease ends. &nbsp;Secondhand Treasures is a unique thrift store that has become a favorite destination for shoppers and animal lovers alike and a valued asset to our community. &nbsp;Owning our own building is the only way to ensure we can remain in Corrales and continue serving our community for decades to come. SWARF is a New Mexico nonprofit and IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) that has cared for homeless animals since 2011. Until now, we haven&rsquo;t had to rely on fundraising campaigns. &nbsp;Instead, we&rsquo;ve funded our mission by turning your donated goods into lifesaving care for animals. &nbsp;But now, we need your financial support to build our future. &nbsp;Corrales is central to who we are. &nbsp;To stay here, we need to build a permanent home--one that will give us long-term security, meet our needs, and reflect the unique character of Corrales. Our commitment to animals in need will not change.
