The Portland Psychedelic Health &amp; Safety Act is a local, community-led policy initiative designed to increase public safety, education, and harm reduction around natural psychedelic plants and fungi in Portland. This Act makes non-commercial possession, use, cultivation, and gifting of natural psychedelics among the City&rsquo;s lowest law enforcement priorities, allowing public safety resources to focus on higher-priority issues.&nbsp;It explicitly prohibits commercial sales, excludes endangered species like peyote at the request of Indigenous communities, and establishes a Portland Psychedelics Advisory Commission to guide education, safety, and responsible policy implementation.
