When she went down, we used makeshift straps, a come-along winch, and even needed assistance from the fire department&rsquo;s technical rescue team.To better respond in emergencies like this, we urgently need a Becker sling&mdash;a specialized support system designed to safely lift and stabilize horses in crisis.We already have the support beam installed and the electric hoist on the way.
