Recently in March we had a visit to our Recovery Ranch in Pahrump from the Veterinarian to do a wellness check on all babies. He advised that we needed to geld our 8-month-old colts now.&nbsp; On April 3rd he arrived to do the 2 geldings. During administration of the sedatives the wrapped a lasso around Bid Reds neck 3 times and was suffocating him. Once my horse fell to the ground from lack of oxygen the vet proceeded to look at him and viciously kick him in the head. This incident was recorded and sent into the Sheriff&#39;s office for investigation. The 1st day of investigation the veterinarian went missing. We received many death threats, people coming to our home, throwing objects at our horses at night. &nbsp;Following us when we leave,&nbsp; On 4/18 the veterinarian was found deceased in Lake Mead. Immediately after that aired the threats got worse. People were calling my donors and places I work with.&nbsp; I applied for some grants recently for a trailer and horse coral panels so we can rescue more horses. Unfortunately, due to this national media attention I have lost both grants putting us in a major bind. When these animals need to go to the vet, we need to have a trailer to take them. We need at least 30 new panels to set up more spots when the babies come in.
