🌟Why we exist 🌟Every veteran who wears this country&#39;s uniform makes a promise to serve. Too often, when they come home, that promise is not returned.&nbsp; Operation Hope and Home was founded by an army combat veteran who knows that gap firsthand. The drift after service ends, the weight that doesn&#39;t leave when the uniform comes off, and the nights spent sleeping outside with nowhere else to go. It&#39;s a story shared by thousands of veterans across our country, and one that doesn&#39;t have to end the way it started.&nbsp; We are looking to build transitional housing and real, hands-on support for veterans facing homelessness in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina, not a shelter bed and a goodbye, but a stable place to land while they rebuild: housing, case management, and a community that cares. Every dollar you give goes toward getting a veteran off the street and into a home. Not a program number, not a statistic, but one person, then the next, then the next.&nbsp; They didn&#39;t leave anyone behind on the battlefield, and we&#39;re not leaving them behind now.&nbsp;
