Help us support the Blessings in a Backpack program at Lucas Schools this year! The Shelby Cooper Memorial Fund is a Richland County non-profit organization dedicated to investing in the people and causes closest to home.&nbsp; Every Friday, Blessings closes the 65-hour weekend nutrition gap for children who are fed throughout the week by their school&rsquo;s free and reduced-price meal program with their nutrition-filled food packs. Please support the Shelby Cooper Memorial Fund and Mechanics Bank as we bring this program back to Lucas Local Schools. For $5 a week ($175 total), 1 Lucas student in the program receives a bag of nutritional food sent home every weekend during the school year. Help us bridge the gap for students in our community.
