When communities face devastating loss, veterans know how to assess the situation, adapt to changing conditions, develop a plan, overcome obstacles, and accomplish the mission. &nbsp; &nbsp;We come together to help communities recover, rebuild, and regain the freedom to pursue happiness. We understand what it means to have a mission; it is how we are built. &nbsp; &nbsp;Our group of organizations bring experience, trusted relationships, established resources, and committed partners to this effort. We understand both the immediate needs and the challenges that will emerge in the months and years ahead. Where Your Support Is Going &nbsp; &nbsp;We are working directly with local first responder departments, mental health professionals, real estate groups, affiliated partners, and other community organizations to identify and address the areas of greatest need. &nbsp; &nbsp;Our process is straightforward: What is needed? Where is it needed? What resources are already available? What additional support is required? How do we acquire it and get it to those who need it most? &nbsp; &nbsp;This cannot be a two- or three-month response that disappears when public attention moves elsewhere. &nbsp; &nbsp;Our commitment is to develop and sustain a comprehensive recovery plan, with the funding, partnerships, and resources necessary to carry it forward. This will be critical in helping affected families rebuild their lives. Immediate Relief and Essential Supplies &nbsp; &nbsp;We are already seeing supplies arrive through generous contributions from major corporations, local businesses, organizations, and individuals throughout the community. Meeting immediate material needs is an essential priority, and continued support will be necessary for a long time. &nbsp; &nbsp;Your partnership can help us coordinate and deliver essential resources where they will have the greatest impact while allowing us to prepare for the more complex recovery needs ahead.Housing and Long-Term Stability &nbsp; &nbsp;One of the most significant current and future challenges will be locating, furnishing, and funding safe, stable housing for displaced families. &nbsp; &nbsp;We are working with multiple real estate groups and affiliated partners to identify available properties and other housing opportunities. Corporate and partner funding and support will be vital to securing housing, furnishing homes, and helping families establish stability as they begin rebuilding their lives. Trauma and Mental Health Support &nbsp; &nbsp;Disaster-related trauma and loss at this level can create a serious mental health crisis&mdash;one that affects not only individuals but entire families. &nbsp; &nbsp;This is an area in which our organizations specialize. We have access to resources, therapy options, and treatment options designed to address every level of trauma and mental health need. Our goal is to ensure that affected individuals and families receive meaningful care throughout the recovery process&mdash;not only during the immediate aftermath.
