A sad French bulldog sits on a metal examination table in front of a computer and a wooden cabinet.

Please help raise money for Surviving Cruelty Animal Rescue (SCAR) to help Ace/Stitch get the continued treatment he needs. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Some of you know this baby as Ace from Carson shelter and some as Stitch. This poor baby can’t seem to catch a break. He’s had a rough life and needs help now more than ever. He was dumped in the streets, listed for euthanasia in the shelter, adopted out but sadly his life did not get any easier or better from there. His health significantly declined and sadly his house was never really a home. He was brought to us in rough condition. In just a few weeks with us he has had multiple vet visits including surgeries and when things were finally looking good for him he woke up with his back legs numb. He is now suffering from IVDD. We rushed him to the vet where he got an MRI done and stayed on crate rest for a week. He was heartbroken, terrified, and in pain wondering what he did to deserve this. The founder personally took him in and kept him on additional crate rest. Sadly Stitch had too many damaged areas down his spine and was not a candidate for surgery. The good news is there were no ruptured areas making him a candidate for chiro and therapy. As a small rescue this is not something we were prepared for so we ask the community to help him get the medical treatment and any future supplies he needs. You can also donate to the rehabilitation place directly by calling them Tsavos Rehabilitation 619-846-9531 and let them know you would like to donate a session to Stitch with Surviving Cruelty Animal Rescue
