&quot;THE GREATEST STORY EVER&quot; IS HEADING TO NEW YORKThe show had its premiere in Berlin this past December, and now we&#39;re bringing it to La MaMa E.T.C. for its U.S. premiere, October 29th through November 8th.Anyone who&#39;s followed my work for a while knows how important La MaMa has been to me over the years, so coming back to do my newest show at this legendary theater is an amazing opportunity that means a great deal. This tour also matters for another reason. When my collaborator Evan and I brought I Love That For You to La MaMa in December of 2024, some important presenters from the New York contemporary performance world came to see it. This tour will give us the opportunity to grow our relationship with those presenters, as well as to connect with other professionals in the field who missed our work the last time we were there. The same is true of our audiences. With so much happening in New York all the time, developing an audience that knows your work and comes out to see it is challenging work that takes time. Here in Berlin last December, we were able to double the size of our audience for this show compared to the show we did the year before, and I am working towards the same goal for this series of performances in New York. Of course, none of this is possible without the support people who believe in what we&#39;re doing. If you&#39;re willing and able to contribute, your donation will help directly cover travel costs, labor, and material and production expenses in New York (which keep going up quickly). I&#39;m always doing everything I can to keep our operation as lean as possible, but because of these very real costs, we literally couldn&#39;t do what we do without your choosing to be part of the effort.
