Repatriate Our Patriots is a non-profit organization that fights to keep our military veterans from being unfairly deported. We exist because the people who risk their lives for our flag should never have to fight the government they protected, to stay with their families.&nbsp; Yet, thousands of our veterans do. Right now. Quietly. Invisibly. With no one in their corner. Currently more than 40,000 active-duty service members are non-citizens. When the system they fight for turns on them, they have no roadmap, no advocate, and no voice. They are alone. As of 2022, 731,000 immigrant veterans lived in the United States and many have been victims of mass deportations. A veteran who served the United States of America, who protected the rights and freedoms of every American, can be deported to a place that they no longer call home or in some cases, never called home. The resulting outcome could easily force that veteran to live on the streets in fear for their lives. No shelter. No food. No comfort. No future.&nbsp; Most Americans have no idea this happens, and many Americans don&rsquo;t even believe this is possible. They ask, &ldquo;how can a United States military veteran fight for their country and then be discarded and deported?&rdquo; It is unbelievable to think that happens to our veterans; this is where Repatriate Our Patriots steps in&hellip;&nbsp; Our last round of funding helped us fight for more than 70 veterans&mdash;men and women who served with honor and were left to navigate the massive maze of deportation alone.&nbsp; We fight to reunite families.&nbsp; We work to reverse deportation orders.&nbsp; We help people finally receive the care, benefits, and stability they earned and acquired throughout their lives. Real Life Scenarios: <ol fr-original-style="" style="width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Recently, through donations, we were able to send $1,000 to a medical facility outside the United States where a veteran is receiving medical care; without the funds, that veteran&rsquo;s quality of life would be severely reduced and potentially lead to their untimely death. </li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">We have a therapist who is donating 6 months of her time to provide free therapy services to &nbsp;a combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient who suffered from PTSD for over 15 years and is just now getting help. This in-kind support is valued at $4,800, and it also includes evaluations to help connect the veteran to earned benefits. </li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">We&rsquo;re currently supporting an active-duty service member whose spouse is stuck in a complex immigration process. The uncertainty has created real financial strain and family instability, and we&rsquo;re working to connect them to qualified help and emergency support.</li></ol> We are working diligently to support this service member to help them get aid, and this is where we need your support. We are grateful to have professionals on our side to support the military service members, veterans, and their families whether they donate to the cause or provide in-kind donations. With the growing need for assistance, our organization must expand our team so that no veteran waits in the dark for help that may come too late. We want to expand our reach and compound our impact. It is our civic responsibility to act. Now, we are asking you to support the veterans who have supported you and helped provide the freedoms and comforts that we all enjoy.
