We do this through holding an annual week-long summer Arizona Youth Leadership Conference (AZYLC) or special, more abbreviated, Arizona Leadership Seminar (AZYLS). Delegate students are nominated to attend by school counselors, JROTC Instructors, and Scout, Civil Air Partol, Young Marines, and other youth civic program leaders.This 501(c)3 non-profit organization is supported by volunteer instructors who are both Retired and/or Active or Reserve military personnel; plus are members of an Arizona Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) Chapter.&nbsp;AZYLC PROGRAM OBJECTIVES -*Orient and direct attention to afforded individual opportunities and choices available to all in this great nation.*Examine and understand the basic concepts of a free enterprise system and its contributions to national prosperity and growth.*Highlight the benefits of living in a free society, where the philosophy and concept of personal liberty and choice prevail.*Instill and hone gained leadership skills and encourage self-actualization as a pivotal contributor to society.
