At the heart of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe in Green Grass, South Dakota lies a sacred and historic property that holds deep ancestral, spiritual, and cultural significance. This land is home to the Elk Head family cemetery&mdash;resting place of the first treaty signer and headman/founder of the Great Sioux Nation, Elk Head, the Keeper of the Sacred White Buffalo Calf Pipe until his death in 1914. The documentary &quot;Without Arrows&quot; shows the 13 year journey of Delwin Fiddler Jr., a champion grass dancer from the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, who left his reservation as a young man to escape a trauma that splintered his family and built a new life in Philadelphia. A decade later he abandons it all and returns home to fulfill his mother&rsquo;s ambition and carry on the legacy of their thiy&oacute;&scaron;paye (extended family). In the documentary, the buildings on this land are the center of the story and community. Today, this treasured site&mdash;once a thriving hub of family, spirituality, and leadership&mdash;sits in urgent need of restoration. These pictures are just a sampling of the extensive damage to the buildings.&nbsp; Why We Need Your HelpWe are seeking to raise funds and gather support to restore and renovate three key historical structures on the property:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The Family Home: Childhood home of Derek Fiddler, a 7th-generation descendant of Elk Head, who has returned to Green Grass with the vision to reclaim and restore his family&#39;s legacy. The home currently has no running water or electricity and was severely damaged by an arson attempt. All windows are broken, and interior and exterior doors need complete replacement.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The Bunkhouse/Meeting House: Once a space for community connection, this building has been vandalized and stands unused.
