The Lemon Market is a student-run 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to supporting local pediatric cancer patients and causes.&nbsp; The first iteration of the Lemon Market fundraiser was held in August 2024 and was inspired by the kindness and care that Ella Winters and her family had experienced while Ella was battling Lymphoma in the Spring of 2024. Ella&#39;s sister Ava, and 9 of Ava&#39;s friends from the West De Pere area got the idea to hold a lemonade stand fundraiser for the organizations that had been so caring to Ella and her family during Ella&#39;s chemotherapy treatments. As the friends&#39; passion for making a difference grew, so did the idea and the Lemon Market was born.&nbsp; The Lemon Market&#39;s signature event is a lemonade stand, bake, and craft market held annually in August in West De Pere. The inaugural 2024 event raised $14,333 - far outpacing the girls&#39; initial goal of $500. &nbsp;In 2025, the girls&#39; efforts raised &nbsp;$20,300. 100% of funds raised are redistributed to families undergoing cancer treatments and the causes supporting them.
