A manicured garden with a small gazebo and a pavilion sits in the foreground, while a blue pond with a fountain and lily pads fills the background.

Save Nandagaon: Where Krishna's Sacred Waters Are DyingNandagaon once had 56 sacred Kundas. Today, only a handful still hold clean water. The rest have become garbage pools, trash dumps, and open sewage collectors — sacred lakes reduced to dumping grounds. Rohini Kunda is one of the few still worth saving before it joins the list of the lost. Save Rohini Kunda: A Lake That Watched Krishna's Childhood Is Choking on NeglectNandagaon is sacred ground — the childhood home of Krishna, Nanda Maharaj, and Yashoda. 2.4 million pilgrims visit every year. At the heart of it: Rohini Kunda, one of 56 lakes tied to Krishna's divine pastimes. Today, it's dying. Heavy organic pollution Clogged with dissolved waste Sediment, sewage runoff, and shrinking banks are strangling the water year by year We're starting here. Rohini Kunda is our first restoration — a model we'll take to the other Kundas still fighting to survive. Save this one, and we prove it can be done. Then we do it again. We've Seen This Fail Before. We're Not Repeating It.Rinmochan Kunda. Sankarshan Kunda. Lalita Kunda. All "rejuvenated" in the last decade by gov or other private organizations. All filthy again within a few years — broken benches, cracked paths, water too foul to wash clothes in. Cleanups without stewardship don't last. That's the mistake we're not making twice. Our Plan for Rohini KundaWith Radhakripa Mission Nandagrama, we're restoring Rohini Kunda for good — water, forest, wildlife, and people, together. Your donation funds: 10–15 million liters of clean water revived every year 100% removal of solid, organic, and construction waste Native fish species reintroduced Shelter for Cows 1,200–1,500 native trees planted — green cover from 10% to 70% 150–200 rural youth trained annually — English, French, and job skills, with a focus on women and underserved youth State of the Art Museum that engages locals and visitors as stewards Beautiful temple to honor Mother Rohini and Yashoda Why This Time SticksEvery failed rejuvenation had one thing missing: people who stayed to protect it. We're building that in from day one — a heritage museum, a community center, trained local stewards, and full quarterly reporting to the public and government. This is a perpetual commitment, not a one-time fix. Bring Rohini Kunda Back to LifeHelp us turn a dying sacred lake back into clean water, thriving wildlife, and a village that owns its own heritage. Give today — and be part of Rohini Kunda's revival. [Learn more at radhakripa.in]
