When donations cover those out-of-pocket costs, a few things happen at once &mdash; the client keeps their care and their insurance pays our team. The same dollar goes further here than covering pro bono services, and paying down someone&#39;s deductible means other medical care becomes more affordable too. For clients without insurance, donations can cover the cost of sessions directly. Every dollar stays local and goes directly to care.
