Drive Black History Forward One Bus At a TimeWe are in a time when books are being banned from Florida classrooms and vital historical truths are being white-washed or stripped from curriculum. At the Miami Center for Racial Justice, we are in urgent mode to save Black History so it is not forgotten. Central to our mission are our Teach the Truth tours that bring people to the sacred grounds where pivotal moments in Black cultural heritage happened. We believe that learning these stories - in the precise locations where incidents of racial violence occurred - create lasting impressions and lessons that stay with people and keep the stories alive. We created&nbsp;the Rosewood Student Travel Fund to bring high school students on a fully paid Teach the Truth Tour to Rosewood and other significant Black heritage sites in Florida. Your direct support to this campaign will make it possible for TWO chartered buses of students to take part in this two-day transformational experience during Black History Month in February 2027. By sponsoring a student, you are helping ensure that the next generation can learn and carry forward the true Black history and be motivated for future activism and social change.
