A small white house with a cedar shake roof and green doors stands in a paved courtyard, flanked by brick buildings and overhanging green leaves.

Help preserve the Ship Caulkers’ Houses and share the stories they hold. Your gift to Friends of the Ship Caulkers Houses, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supports the ongoing restoration of the interiors and yard of the Ship Caulkers’ Houses at 612-614 S Wolfe Street. Your support also advances research efforts and interpretation of the stories of the community of Black ship caulkers who lived and worked in Fell’s Point during the first half of the nineteenth century. Donations help cover cost of the houses' restoration and preservation, connecting the care of these houses with the history of the people who called this neighborhood home. Donate today to help restore the houses’ interiors and yard, support research and bring the Black ship caulkers’ stories to more people.
