🚨💔 A Simple Stop for Gas Became the Light These Twelve Lives Needed. 🐾 UPDATE - the entire small colony included 5 more adult She was just passing through town when she stopped at a local gas station.Instead of finding a quick stop, she found a sweet mama cat and her SIX kittens trying to survive in a busy parking lot. Heartbreakingly, they were all incredibly friendly, making them especially vulnerable to traffic and other dangers. She sat down and fed them, but after returning home, she couldn&rsquo;t stop thinking about them. Hoping someone local could help, she shared their story on a 209 community Facebook page. That&rsquo;s where we came in. ❤️ We are ready to help this precious family, but we need two things before we can begin: funding and a committed rescue partner. 💰 First, we need to raise the funds to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and provide the medical care this family needs.🏡 Second, we need a rescue organization willing to partner with us. Our hope is to get Mama and all seven kittens fixed, allow them to recover safely, complete their quarantine, and then transfer them into rescue so they can find the loving forever homes they deserve.We don&rsquo;t want to put this family through surgery, recovery, and quarantine only to return them to the same parking lot if no rescue placement is available. If we are unable to secure a rescue partner, the best outcome we can provide is to have them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their area through TNR.
